Makes sense to me and I don't know why you shouldn't be automatically deleted from their contact list too.

Ok, so you added them as a contact. And then deleted them, right?
Have they added you as a contact(aka they are your fan)? If they have then you will remain their contact until they choose to delete you. Or, another thing you can do is remove your fans. Then you will be deleted form their contact list. Or block them.
See, removing a contact just means that you will no longer receive information of when they star a question or ask one. Removing all your fans(yahoo doesn't let you remove just one) means not letting anyone else receive information about when you star/ask questions.
No because someone can add you without you adding them. If you don't want someone to see your questions you have to block them.
I have people who like to read what I say, but I don't want to read what they say because they tend to post in categories I am not interested in.
