ahhh, the year i graduated, and MTV came in to my life... commercial free... loved it, but can't truly remember the first video. i was watching cyndi lauper, huey lewis, rat, mostly long hair ballads (used to be called glam fags). i loved the old MTV, all i can find now is rap, or dance music (rave, booty grinding, butt shaken music), not for my type of music.

here's a little trivia for you. when cable first came to buena park, southern california, it was $6.00 per month for basic cable, and movie channels were $3.00 more per month.
