How do you feel about people who drive with their knees....?!

I am an excellent texter, driver, coffee-drinker, and knitter, and I do all of these things while I am driving. I even knitted a coat for myself, while I was driving AND texting, because the weather suddenly got chilly on my way into work.
If you like, I can knit you a sweater and matching hat combo, this morning, on my way into work .... and I can text you, too, to find out which colors you prefer .....

As far as saftey ... I have never hurt any people while texting or knitting, but that does not include people over the age of 75, or the elderly and frail, or farm animals that may have been crossing the street at the time.
I drive better with my knees then alot of people drive with their hands
they keep my husband busy cleaning up their wrecks.
... Text messaging while driving is irresponsible. Wouldn't be safe even if the person was doing it one-handed.
Drinking coffee, well... I'd say that's okay, but that can be done one-handed as well. You should always have at least one hand on the wheel... driving with your knees is just plain crazy (although my father used to do it on occasion... wait a minute, yep, crazy - hehehe). :P
two weeks ago i saw a lady changing her clothes while driving on the freeway. when she was chinging her shirt she had no hands on the wheel and couldn't see the road but, she did a better job than many of the kooks i see on the road.
I enjoy dodging them ,it keeps me alert and on my toes.
Been there did that, but really, it's not safe!
Of course, it's not safe - but that doesn't stop most of us from doing it every once in a while! I know I do it when I'm changing CDs - a terrible habit, but I do it all the same.
Drinking coffee? Do those people need two hands to drink their coffee?
