Am I the only person on which caffeine has the opposite effect...it makes me sle!

it is definitely Not u alone, i was wondering the same thing because i drink coffee at night and then go to sleep and in the morning it makes me feel drowsy. i glad im not the only person
Sometimes it does.
If I have too much of it, it rebounds and makes me sleepy.
it sometimes doesnt have the "wakening" affect on me either!
Maybe corporate America is reducing the drug of caffeine additives in products in order to increase profit margins.
It is not the caffeine. It is the creamer you put in it. Don't put too much creamer or don't put creamer at all.
You are not the only person. I have two sons who drink something with caffeine in it at night to help them relax and go to sleep. Once my 14 year old drank an energy drink that was loaded with caffeine and it made him so tired he took a nap. That boy never takes naps! A Dr. once told me that people who have ADHD have the opposite effect from caffeine that most people do, which is sleepiness instead of a caffeine high. I'm not saying that you have ADHD, that's just what he told me, And these two boys of mine both have ADHD.
Nope, you're not alone. I drink a can of Mt Dew everyday aroudn 8:30am and it seems to more put me asleep than wake me up. Been drinking it regularly for about four or five years now, so maybe that dosage of caffeine just skips that adrenaline phase and goes straight to the sleepy phase. I have to drink about three or four cans in an hour to really have any effect. But in doing that everyday, I'd become caffeine-addicted in no time.
My fianceYes it does. I know a few people who say it actually makes them sleepy. Some have said that it doesn't effect them at all. When I drink it ,especially coffee It sends me flying. Not quite as much as it use to but I have to be careful when drinking coffee.My fiance said he can tell when I have had more than 3 cups of coffee a day cause I get really manic like and flitter around the house and talk his ear off. He thinks it's cute though.
Must be,ha ha.I can drink coffee right until I go to bed and sleep right away always have been able to do this.Soda drinks have caffeine in them too.
