I've answered this enough to resort to copy-and-pasting previous answers.
Specifically in my case (I believe) and in the case of many foot fetishists, there's neurological crosstalk in the brain that makes us react to seeing feet as if we're seeing genitalia. But that's not the only answer, nor the answer for every foot guy.
There are a LOT of nerve endings in the foot that connect to a lot of different places, and footplay can be very sensual and intimate. It adds a whole new dimension of intimacy to your sex life.
Then there's the fact that showering adoration on a persons feet can be viewed as a very cute and sweet thing-- wanting to give attention to a part of someone that is commonly disregarded. It's a wonderful display of devotion.
Feet are all very unique and expressive as well.
...and frankly, when I see a soft foot with short, pretty toes I honestly have no idea why I'm in the minority here. How can that NOT turn a person on?
To add more possibilities: for one, feet are an often-covered part of the body (though maybe less so nowadays), so there's a potential thrill in seeing skin you don't usually see. And women eroticize their feet by dressing them up with nail polish, rings, sexy shoes, stalkings, etc. Maybe there's a bit of a "naughty" aspect that's thrilling because we're always told feet are "dirty." Also, they can be in the line of sight during sex, or watching other people have sex, and seeing them while in or watching the act could create an association there if often enough.
The possibilities are endless. The bottom line, though, is people are different. I don't know why people like james patterson novels. I don't know why people like pears. I don't know why people like the Eagles. But they do. People are different. So, basically, to worry about "why" someone likes something you don't like is just kind of silly.

i dont get the foot fetish either! I HATE feet.....they are by far the ugliest thing on the human body.....lol
I guess it's the same thing as being attracted to eyes. Everyones' taste is different.
i like eyes,i dont like feet at all.I like nice shoulders and butts but its not that important as long as people are clean. :)
