Anti - Simply because I prefer the idea of letting a criminal live over having a potentially innocent person die.
PRO - It costs a fortune to keep some of these losers alive for years.

It's gotta be proven without any shred of doubt that the person
on death row has done the crime they have been charged
with.
Murders, rapists who repeat offend, child molesters. All of
these if proven beyond doubt should be put to death.

but either way nobody learns anything that way & solitary confinement is way worse than death, all you can do is think.

If you are Christian, where in the new testament did you ever see that the death penalty was a good idea? I believe Jesus taught us how to forgive, not how to kill.
Ive a mixed reaction to this question,Pro for all the rotten B***ards who hurt inocent kids ,and rapes and kill they are just a waste of space.On the other hand Im Anti for people who have killed in self defence,for both men and women who have suffered abuse through others and cant take any more,
PRO. Ask the victims' families how THEY feel and I'm sure that most of them would agree with me. Why should our hard-earned tax dollars go to support and house these criminals for the rest of their lives?

I'm PRO!! There I said it, happy? lol ok, I know u don't like to argue but I'm still gonna argue anyway. I'm not talking about death penalties over a stupid crime here, but major one like murder or anything similar to that. Do u think its fair if I kill u and then all I get is just a life imprisonment? Dude, ur dead and I'm alive! Its not like it was an accident, I did it on purpose. And whats all with the government having to spend their money on criminal for food and stuff. These kind of people just deserve it, death penalty. They already had their chances before but hey, they screw it up. So now pay for it.
