Have you ever received a violation notice for venting/ranting?!
Question: I haven't. I know I vent & rant quite a bit, but I don't vent just to vent. I look for advice on how to solve a particular issue that bothers me.
Every violation I get is for Violation of TOS/Community Guidelines, Chatting, or NOT A QUESTION OR ANSWER. & usually, those are false violations. If I ask how to improve my memory & reduce stress, I still get a violation, "Not a Question or Answer".

So far, I haven't but I feel I've come pretty close. I asked a simple question on YA and it was misunderstood I put the question in 2 categories and 1 of the categories the q. was deleted. So I had to explain to them the meaning of my q. I told them they need to put some young people on the guidelines board. Also, I told them that with all the crude questions and vulgar comments why they don't go after them? My question was "Who would you ride or die for?
Then later on I see a q. that was racist avatar and all on MLK day at that this made me so mad. So I reported it and I told the guidelines people off but in a respectful manner. they better had remove that q. immediately I was going to take it to YA as an open question. then I see a question called I hate and fill in the blank with all that was on my mind I vented and it felt good when I was done. It is one of my starred questions you can look it up if your interested. I should have got b.a. Later on they gave me my question back that's the first time that ever happened to me.

I got one for chatting. I think the rest were all for insulting.

Yes, That caused me my last suspension.
People probably have a vendetta against you. I know it sounds mad, but prior to the point that my first account was suspended, I was always getting violations. NOw I hardly ever get them. Try making your Q&A private. That can help.

My first violation came to me saying it wasn't a question or an answer. I had asked "if the BTK killer, Richard Ramirez and Jeffrey Dahmer asked forgiveness and accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour, would they be able to spend eternity in heaven with people like Pope John Paul II and Mother Theresa." I am not Christian, and don't believe in hell or satan, so I was asking a legitimate question. I appealed the violation, and when they responded, they said that what I posted could have been considered a "rant"
I appealed again, and I told them they would continue to hear from me until it was reversed.
No but I have received 1 for no reason stated... and from a question that was from Y/A Archives (Resolved Questions)...
They said it breached their guidelines...!!! Well that says alot about the Resolved questions kept on Yahoo Answer Files...@#$%%^%*&&!!!!
