no

I think that would be a great idea, just the basics :)

it is to extent in our schools

yes of course

yes !

no. its too easy for someone to be certified if its tested for in schools, the kids dont pay as much attention as they need to be in order to save someones life. they just dont take it seriously.. if they do they should do it behind curtains so kids dont have to look stupid in front of their friends and blow into manikins.

yep. I learnt it (as well as changing a tyre, rudimentary plumbling etc) and it makes me feel prepared should anything happen.

Most school do offer that as an elective... but I think you learn cpr.... in highschool, in health class..... at least we did... i think it's government mandated.

yes

yes

yes

No because the school curriculum is already overloaded. Children should leave school competent in English and Maths anything else is a bonus.

good question

yes and CPR

Yes, it's a very useful skill to have.

Yes. You always seel about little kids calling 9-1-1, because that is what they have been taught to do. I think a little first aid might be great!

yeh most definentaly and it needs to be taught like every 2 years or so to reinforce it ! cause i did it in grade 6 and can barely remeber what i was supposed to be doign or how many breaths *opps* - just finished grade 12 (final schooling grade in aussie befroe like uni/tafe/work etc)

yes

Yes..and my school has already implemented it once.
Being a student myself,i found the class to be very educative and knowledgable.
To an extent,i now know CPR,how to tie big bandages and the immediate measures to take if someone is injured/needs help.

I think every school should implement this because the students will learn a lot and they will be able to save a few lives.

I still remember what i was taught and am sure i will use it some day.
