I'm terribly camera shy, but that's because I'm not photogenic. At all. D: Most of the time, I come out terrible in photos! So yes, I do get pretty mad.
On the other hand, I do enjoy taking them...!

Pictures last a very long time and people judge you by your appearance (unfortunately).
Usually I'm the one taking the photographs. My older son is quite fond of taking my picture when I'm doing something foolish like waving my arms all around, or have my mouth open to eat. But that's o.k. too. It's always good for laughs later on, when we reminisce about "do you remember when?" If someone wants to take a picture I don't mind. It would be nice to at least know my hair is combed, and I have some lipstick on, but whatever, is o.k. too.
Once a few years back I was visiting a friend in Tennessee and we went to Dollywood. She captured me swinging from a rope looking like Tarzan's Jane. I laugh about it now!.
