The Wisconsin Dells are a great place to visit. We have 4 seasons. We have the Packers & Brett Favre. We have the best cheese ever, even tho California has great cheese commer-cials. We have tons of lakes w/fish, lots of places to camp, DOOR COUNTY. We don't have mountains, but we have more topography than Iowa or the Dakotas. We have a few good sized cities, but there are several great cities to go to within a couple of hours drive. We're near 2 of the Great Lakes. We're close to the center of the country. We have a great mix of nationalities, & festivals celebrating all of them. Its just a good place to live.
Fresh air, no pollution, clean water

Cheese, of course! And Old Milwaukee Beer... I like Wisconsin - it's beautiful in the summer! lol

When I was 10, we moved from Ft, Leavenworth, KS, to Washington, DC - but my Dad took the long way around the Great Lakes.
We spent 10 days in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, and it was so beautiful on this giant lake and all the nature - plus we stayed in an A-Frame cabin, which had a loft and the owner had hundreds of Science Fiction paperbacks to read.
I had a great childhood and Wisconsin was a major part of it :-)
When driving north on I-94 through WI, you can find all the cheese and porn outlets you could ever want.

Well, just the cheese outlets, then.

I don't know about places but the cheese is just so yummy.
