If you put an egg in salt water will it sink or float?!
Question: It will float.
Answers: It will float.
i don't know
It will float. The density of fresh water is exactly 1 g/cc and salt water is 1.05. The salt adds density. ?
But if I put salt on your eggs will you eat them?
I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it will sink??? Unless you put it in the Dead Sea.
Depends on what kind of egg it is. Hardboiled or regular. Acutally, both of those would sink.
It will float.
Adding salt to the water increases its density, so the pressure against anything submerged in it will be greater than if the object were submerged in pure water. The egg's buouyancy in the salt water, therefore, will be greater than its weight, so it will float.
