Question: ........what would happen if a piece of buttered toast was tied face up, to a cat that was then dropped out of a window?

Who ever told you that toast could stop a cat from landing on its feet? the cat is obviously heavier isnt it? the toast isnt living, it doesnt have muscles to beat the cat. The cat will obviously do what most cats do, land on its feet. the toast will just remain on the cats face. I saw mythbusters!!! and the buttered toast thing wasnt true!! it was busted! So deal with that!!

it's been proven that toast does not alway fall butter side down, it just depends on how the toast was dropped. a cat can flip itself around, so the cat would determine how they both land.
and it would be irrelevant in the end, because the cat would eat the toast.

This constitutes a quantum pair coupling wherein the cat and toast occupy the same quantum wave state function simultaneously. The cat/toast pair would spin, suspended in space, until the toast falls off, breaks the pair bounding, and both cat and toast take on their own individual quantum wave functions.
