yeah, i like background noise while i am on the computer or reading or doing something. just to hear the tv doing it's thing keeps my mind happy and i feel safe for some reason.

If I want sound, I play a CD or turn on the radio and listen to NPR. However, I like quiet a fair amount of the time -- it's nice to have a rest from being bombarded by stimuli.
Yup, pretty much every time I enter my room I turn it on. It's just become a habit now...probably wastes a lot of energy, but the sound keeps me company when I have no one to talk to...

My eyes get glued when something interesting is on.

The "noise" somehow makes me sleepy, I really do not understand why.
