It was about 10 years ago
I just got my bonus from work and I was at McDonalds eating and this man came by and gave me a globe keychain and it had a paper attached saying something like "I am deaf and I sell these globes for $2, to help my family." I was in a happy mood and gave him $50 and he hugged me and started to cry. I shook his hand and went home.
Now about an hour later, I am at the local market and he is in there with him family getting a big basket of food. He spots me and signs to his wife that I was the guy who gave him the money. She comes over and thanks me and hugs me and tells me, they will not blow the money and will get as much food as they can.
That made me feel good
I felt good seeing they were buy food and NOT a case of beer or cigarettes
