Nice guys don't always finish last... I would take this as an insult if my hubby said it.

It is a statement probably made by some nice guy who felt he was often overlooked. That's it.

I don't think your husband gets the point that SOME nice guys finish last. I know PLENTY of nice guys who have girlfriends and kids and live decent lives.

That is what a father would say about his "little girl." Your hubby is a "bad boy" in your father's eyes.

Or it could be based on being very generous in the sack, in which case I do think you might want to encourage your daughter to date someone else!

Definitely not! Believe me most women would give their left nippple for a nice guy that finished last, allowing them to finish first. I'm surprised your wife hasn't mentioned that before! Poor thing!

It may take some negative qualities to reach the top. How many politicians can you name that haven't lied or taken advantage of others to get where they are today?
And why doesn't hubby ask for himself?
Oh! No, I can't believe some guys here have denied the fact that you have put up here. Your husband is correct! Nice guys do finish last. The guys that pick you up first leaves you first. The guys that 'finish last' (or losers in that interpretation) are made for you. All you have to do is to culture them a bit (meaning you have to train him according to your own wishes)and voila you'll be a winner!
