Do you suffer from any pain on a daily basis ?!

Question: Yep. Physical and emotional.

Physical: I have two bum shoulders. Both have been overrotated several times, and my left shoulder has been hyperextended, once by three *inches* out of the socket, on two, almost three occasions.

Combine that with a *bed* that is absolutely on its last legs, trashed, ruined, toast even, and a budget that doesn't let me get a new one.....and well, I wake up in *pain* every morning. And I wake up in *pain* during the night too....

Emotional: Mood disorders. Depression and stuff. It sucks. I'm on meds for it, but they only go so far. I'm in counseling for it too....

But neither of these things corrects for being lonely and for being treated like a social outcast because people "lose respect" for you or because "they're busy and have lives" or because they think "you're just lazy and have a flawed character."

If I had a nickel for every time people rejected me or disrespected me, just since the year 2000, I could buy a Happy Meal at MickeyD's.

For my whole *hometown*. For every last child in town.

But yeah.....my life is a pain, and my pain *proves to me* I'm alive. What else is new? ^_^

Hope this helps. Good Question, better than it seems.

no!!!!..... hopefully not!

yes i do

Yes, everyday all day.

Happy Soggy Sunday, it's raining here :)

yes I have arthritis in my hips and hands

No

Yes,,,,and its not so much fun getting old!!!

Thank god no...although with three kids my day usually ends in headache.

for the past few weeks yes...I hurt my back and it hurts to do anything

Yes. It's called getting old. LOL. I make sounds when I get up or lift things. I think it's penance for making fun of my dad for doing the same thing when he was my age.

No but I know some people that have to suffer with a pain in the @ss on a daily basis.

Yes, my spine is curved the wrong way and it causes me to have constant headaches and my feet and hands are constantly swollen and its painful

Yes, I need surgery on my left shoulder and my left hip hurts constantly. However, unless it is life threatening I will not go under the knife because of the ever increasing risk of staff infection. The bugs are winning the war.

sometimes

Emotional yes.

yes and im only 15! Im active thats why. Like i could roll my ankle in soccer and it hurts for a week and then if i go ice skating my thighs hurt a little bit after im off the ice.

Sadly, yes. Everyday I have to deal with the pain of my friend leaving me...again. It gets harder with each passing day.

Yes, everyday I get hurt. Pain killers are my best friend.

Unfortunately I do.My dr has just increased my medication dosage.I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Cervical Spondylosis. Both progressively get worse, with no cure.

i'm pretty used to it.

yeah, you get used to the pain after awhile

I do. I'm a wreck. All those horse riding injuries coming back to haunt me.

I think pain goes with pleasure. You can't have one without the other.
If you open yourself to pleasure, then you open yourself to pain which are just what your body feels. Some people even think pain is pleasure.
For me, pain is a way for my body to communicate with me. Like if I have a headache, my body is telling me I drank too much last night or I did not sleep enough or I worked too much...
If I'm sore, my body is telling me I'm building muscle mass, which is good.
If I have a neck ache, my body is telling me I should not have fallen asleep on that sofa or that it's time to change pillows.

So I have pain on a daily basis but my body is nice, give me only one pain at a time...then I deal with it, then I get another one....next!

Edit: I avoid pain killers, because first you get used to them and they lose their effect, second, it's like saying to your body "shut up!", I'd rather listen and learn and even pay for my mistakes.
