Should you break the silence or just sit and wait to see what happens?!

Question: Depends on what the circumstances of the silence is about. I used to go to Quaker meetings, and we were supposed to sit silently until "the spirit moved us to speak." Since the spirit never did move me, I'd wait.

On the other hand, if the silence is between two people who have been arguing, the first one to be able to apologize should speak. Even if you think it was really the other person's fault, you can say "I'm sorry I lost my cool." Or even, "I'm sorry I expressed myself so badly."

I just keep on waiting

and the silence is becoming so loud

...depends on the situation.

break the silence with wind and see what happens.

Break the silence with a fart & blame it on your neighbor.

wait to see what happens

Just cut the cheese!

I'll just wait...

Turn up the radio and sing and dance to your heart's content! I'll join you on the chorus!

Break the silence.

It depends on the situation....most times though I sit back and watch what happens....

I am always the one who brakes the silence! noone else ever does!

I'm trying to break the silence in the only way I can at the moment, but really the only thing I can do is sit and wait to see what happens... I'm not a very patient girl! I hate waiting! The silence seems to be screaming at me right now...

Depends on what you are talking about.
