Why do people think all teens are the same?!
Question: Im 15, and fed up with people just sayin all teenagers are the same when there not. my cousin which is my age is the total oppisite of me im good, go to school, dont drink ( but i wouldlike to try it sometime) dont smoke ok im a bit loud. I havent had sex like most teenagers so i just dont get it! why do poeple think we are all the same?

Good on you! It's all down to stereotyping...you can get some teens that are really loud and slapperish, and generally disrespectful to elders and each other...then you get the druggies and then the swots lol
with teens, if it's not drugs/alcohol it's sex, if it's not sex it's food obsessions and if it's none of those it's work you know "If I don't get this essay done the world is OVER!"I'm sixteen and I am polite and well-mannered, don't even drink or do drugs.I am relatively quiet at school and don't flounce myself round the common room (like some people in 6th form! grr) but...I admit...I lost my virginity at 14.HOWEVER...I don't regret this as I really loved the guy and we were together a further 2 years....I do not sleep around and am completely against 'sex for fun with random people'...
so good on ya for not doing so...you won't regret it when the right guy comes along :D

Simply because many teenagers do fit a stereotype. I work at and FE college and most of our 16-19 students look as if they've come off a production line! Same clothes, same hair, same surly attitude.

I was a teen like you and I never did anythinng like that either but statistically speaking "all" teems are the opposite of you
I wish when I was younger they would have said that most because I never fell into that catagory either
i know isnt it annoying...and then like when i ACTUALLY do do something wrng, then theyll say im like all the others even though im not...GRR makes me angry...
i dont get it either am 15 too and mom says that all the time and its so unfair
the only ones they see are the ones you described.
Because a minority gives all a bad name. They all get tarred with the same brush. Some youngsters are reliable and good kids. Many also care for a sick parent, and while still doing school work. We see it on the news.
totally with you here but drinking smoking and sex doesnt necessarily make you a loud ignorant teenager unless you smoked around people were ignorant that not everyone liked your habbit, you got drunk and caused trouble regularly, you didnt use protection when having sex
you can do these things and still be a friendly respectful person =) everyones different
dont judge someone until you know them
ive had loads of old people be incredibly rude too me and i dont hate everyone over the age of 60
They forgot what it was like to be an adolescent. It was exactly the same when I was your age, don't worry!
We know all teens aren't the same,they're either male or female!
I know you're not like that, your friends know it too.
It is easy to stereotype, but that doesn't make it right!
Stay good, don't give in to being the same just to fit in.
