Poll: space exploration, worth the time, effort and money or a is it a waste of !
Question: for the people that might say no, do you realize that thousands of advancements have been made because of space exploration that have saved millions of lives? Weather satellites, GPS locator's, medical advancements, etc, the list goes on and on.

Well worth the time, effort and money.
That would be like people telling sailors "Sea exploration is a waste of time, effort, and money", during an era when they thought there was nothing beyond where they are right now.
Sure, everyone NOW agrees sea exploration was worth it all, but think of what they thought when they didn't know how important it was going to be for the future.
You Earthlings carry on with such endeavours. I can't wait till all your oil runs out.

Worth it...Man is an explorer, thats what we do...and space is what's next..
oh good..a second change to get thumbs down. It is a waste of time. I am sure we have to keep check on space to a certain extent like monitor comets hitting the earth and so on but sending monkey's in space to see if they can still pee and poo properly is ridiculous. There are hungry people on this earth, people who have no homes left because of horrible floods, earthquakes, homeless, illnesses. Look at cancer..how many people can be saved if we put more money into cancer research or stem cell research. Our priorities as a human race are backwards. Saving, Helping and loving our fellow man is more important that sending a shuttle into space.

Exploring has been a good thing, but I would love to see thing all fixed here on earth as well, such as people not going to bed hungry, not living in their cars, and everyone with affordable health insurance.
i think its worth it and i think its very interesting.....i hope im still alive when we find/or they find us.........life on other planets
I think its worth it.. I remember back as a young teen when they first set foot on the moon.. I thought WOW that is too cool.. so yes we have to keep it up..
