You have to decide if the offense was forgivable... and of course, if your life is better with them in your life, or out of your life...
That's how I have always approached dealing with those who have pissed me off in the past...

I come down no matter how mad I was and tell that person sorry even what cause the problem and have them apologize and if they don't then leave it alone don't hurt them unless they hurt you I think that would be best
