What is the obsession with wearing clothes that are too small for you ?!
Question: I seen some women trying to fit into kids clothes at a store I was shopping at and they were talking about what sizes they could fit into and what not . I mean why do that ?

I know what you mean, frequently at the mall, see some teenage girls (or even adult women trying too hard to look "IN")wearing the low rise jeans, and doesn't cover the belly shirts, and they are always tugging at their clothes to cover up, pulling the shirt
down, and the pants up... (busy work if you ask me) well
especially when the get ogled by some guy who is too old for them to notice, but old enough for them to be creeped out by...

to look sexy...when in fact, they look soooooo foolish!!
I guess it makes them feel skinnier which I think is ridiculous considering it is gonna make them look even worse.
Some women think they look good in small clothes, and they don't want to face the fact that they're bigger than what they think. Women should just embrace themselves and be happy with what they have, they have clothes that are just as cute and are IN THEIR SIZE! I can't stand to see a heavy-set woman wearing a tub-top. GROSS!
Spandex is just my thing...sorry.

I wear stuff out the kids section sometimes, but they aren't too small for me. I'm quite thin, so if I can't find it in Juniors, I will check out the girls 14 usually fits me well.

Actually I was shopping for my 5 year old a couple weeks ago and some of the clothes were just so rad that I couldn't help but to hold up an extra large child size to me and see if it would fit. And it really did look like it would so I went as far as trying it on.
They really do make these kids clothes all grown up like nowadays.
It's just pathetic, I can't stand people who try to look like a person that they could never be. Why don't you accept yourself as you are? It sounds ridiculous... I always try to stay away from them.
...maybe it helps them in fulfilling their fantasy that they still can consider themselves "small..." but that's a maybe..
They weren't too small for me when I bought em, the KidsGap tag says size small/petite

Smaller numbers make them feel smaller, even if they're really not.
