criminal lawyers should not be locked up...innocent until proven guilty. suspects need to be represented which is exactly why they will be provided with a lawyer if they cannot afford one/do not have one.
No and here is why. In the US Constitution (Your Milage May Vary), it is specifically outlined that we have a Right to a fair trial and good representation. The reason that our founding fathers were so concerned about this is because they came from places that didn't have fair trials. If you were accused surely you were guilty and just be done with it. That goes against absolutely everything our country was founded on.
I have lived and worked in places where that was not the norm. I can assure you that the Criminal Lawyers making the system work and fair is a necessary part of any country you want to live in.
