Why is it that when you are trying to get off the elevator with 4 or more other !

Question: ...the people who are entering won't wait for everyone to get off before charging in? It's like they literally wanna knock people off their legs in order to get a coveted spot on the elevator.

Do you think the elevator is going somewhere? Will it leave you?

Just wait for everyone to exit before entering the elevator. It's not that hard!

I am 100% in support of your post!

I know right! It's only common sense and common courtesy.

I always take the stairs, so I wouldn't know.

they dont wanna miss there stop?

you are so right its just the way the world is today...hurry up and get know where

Depends on which country you're in.

And in a crowded elevator why does someone always laugh to themselves?

yeah yeah yeah, they all do that, do u have any solution?

people are just assholes!! take the stairs... i do

People just need manners, pure and simple. The London Underground is just infamous for it and it is one of my pet hates!

Its the same way when I get off the train everyday. People will rush like the doors are closing and then the train is packed and people can't get off because all the idiots are blocking the exit. There was one time when a couple of tourists (husband and wife) got separated because people would not let the husband off the train. I felt bad for them. Mean people suck.

ooooh i hate that!! its so annoying, its the same with trains and busses. Don't these people realise it would be easier for everyone (including themselves) if they just waited that extra second?! grrrrrr!.

it's called "self importance".

Because they have been waiting more than 30 seconds for the elevator to come and they have to jump on before it leaves again. LOL. I work in a hospital and I see it all the time and it's usually the people with 84 balloons and 4 dozen flowers that need to get in before everyone gets out

I am an elevator safety inspector and this has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. I think it is just a lack of courtesy and patience that people have. By the way, when waiting for an elevator you only need to push the call button once, pushing it 50 or more times and kicking the doors wont make it come any faster. There is a dispatching feature that controls it.
