Ridiculous that people are sending money to foreign countries when our own people are sleeping in the streets.

No, you're on the right track. Unfortunately, most people have a hard time realizing that there are things in this country that need to be fixed before we help fix anything in other countries.

u r not a bad person but as there's no action to help americans at the moment go participate in helping others who need help and who are doing something to get help... those people might need ur help desperately, if u can help, don't hesitate
It doesn't make you a bad person, as that is the choice you've made and even if you had participated only your workmates and you would know that you had. Do you think of your workmates who are participating as good people?

I agree with you 100%. So many people always give to people that are outside of the U.S. when we have people in our own country who could use our help just as much or more.
NO! All you lot are fat as hell and you are like stupid animals, you will never learn, most countries have given up hope on America.
Americans need help with; food input, calorie consumption, money management, drug intake and the stimulation of braincells.
Use it as an opportunity to learn how these things are done, who supports them, how and what is the result.. an education at least you can use to benefit more kids and possibly local kids, though they're all kids after all.. someone from there, who's in the US, might be helping locals.. what goes around comes around in the scheme of things.
Both are important, push for supporting local kids, but NOT supporting international kids, doesn't benefit either and only hurts those you didn't support.
