Well, you know how it is in the Big Easy - if you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it'll change. As for up here - well, central New York state - six hours away from New York city - is bright and sunny at the moment with a modest breeze and the temperature is 25 degrees. I've been up early enough to hear the rooster on the neighbor's farm and seen his cows wandering from the milking parlor out to pasture. Their whole bodies are steaming from the cold after having spent the night in a nice warm barn and milking parlor...if we had Mardi Gras parades here, I'm afraid not too many young ladies would be trying to induce the young men to throw them some beads... };^)
