Are you serious??? I mean really... are you for real? YOU are the parent, it is your responsibility to bring them up right, so YOU need to control it big time in their lives. You are to control the amount of things which could hurt their teeth. Yes they're gonna make a fuss and cry about it... but that'll be far better than the cry they'll have when they're older and have serious dental problems. God gave you those children. They belong to God but are in your charge and care. So please help them, bring them up right, and do not boil them so they're of little value to society.
It helps them to practice good hygiene. Plus their baby teeth can get cavities and decay. That would be painful for them and painful for your wallet. Some kids don't loose their teeth for a long time. I am sure you don't want your kids running around with bad breath and yellow nasty teeth. My 13 yr old niece only has one set of teeth for all her life and she didn't find this out until recently because my sister didn't take her to the dentist. So be good to your kids and take them to the dentist.
