When it snows?!

Question: Do you stock up on supplies like batteries, bread, and water?

I live in the northeast and surprisingly at the slightest amount of snow....people still flock to the grocery store. It snows quite a bit every year up here and yet people still run to Shaw's, Stop and Shop, Hannaford's, and Market Basket like it's never snowed before.

Why?

Why?

You kidding? I don't even think of doing that.

no i don't

No.

no

Nope.

But I just found out I get a snow day tomorrow!

WOOOOOT!

Happy Thursday =)

It never snow's where we live.

it never snows here

no, cause i live in florida

Yes. Cuz no one wants to be stuck at home in a snow storm without hot cocoa! : )

they just want to be REALLY prepared and make sure they have enough food! and its also kinda the fun thought of it!!

i make yellow snow and eat it

No, i just get my shovel out. *sigh*

Maybe all these people you see arent from there. I'm from Michigan, snow doesnt bother me much......

guess they think it will never stop and will get snow in..lol

I do hit the store, but that is because I usually shop every day or every other day. I don't buy stuff that requires electricity. I don't buy eggs, etc. I go for bread, peanut butter, botttled water, etc just in case power goes out. As for batteries, I never have a flashlight that works!

We have food around here, but we have never been stuck in here for more than 12 hours before. Ever.
I'm from Missouri.

We don't get snow at all here ... well maybe once a year we get about an inch (if that). People always act like it is the end of the world. I mean if you get trapped in your house in an inch of snow I'd be more worried about your mental health. :-P

No, here in northern Wisconsin the plows are out and salting too soon as it is.

Nope, doesn't snow here (phil.)

Maybe because they don't want to get out in the snow?
