It doesn't sound like those are very awful, I would probably not do anything, when you're a parent, you have to pick your battles wisely!

My kids got through teens pretty good....!!

You'd be grounded for a year.

We would fix the problem and move on!
That is not to big of a deal, 16 is a tough age with peer pressure and competition from friends.

We would have a heart to heart in a big hurry

cussing, wash you mouth out with soap, ? about the jacket? did you lose it, or was it a part of the dress code violation? either way, restriction, restriction, restriction!!!!

I wouldn't see that as huge offenses but I wouldn't let them get away with it. I would just punish them by grounding them for a few days and giving them a stern talk. Or making them my slave for a week.

Hypothetically speaking(you can"t report me for that),Ground the little idiot for a month.

I just turned 18, and I can tell you I have been there. Maaaany times. In fact, I've had a lot worse. You sound like a good kid, don't worry about it. It's all part of being a teenager. : ) The important thing is that you learn from your mistakes.

you would be in your room for a very long time.

Sit you down and talk about appropriate behavior. Those are pretty mild actually. I had one son get caught with a knife at school, then later with drugs. The other got caught shoplifting. Both are good law abiding citizens today and parents themselves.

Well, you are young enough to be my daughter ( I don't have any kids) but what you did was absolutely no biggie. 16 is a very tough age. I have a friend whose daughter rang up an $800.00 cell phone bill. Now THAT is something to be angry about. But, you're fine.

Not a thing..
Those things are minor
It could have been drinking, drugs, guns..Then I would go ape sh!t.

I talk the problems over with my children and then we figure out the solution together. It doesn't sound like the things you did were horrible and kids do test the rules, and we as parents know that. We were young once, too. I wouldn't just ignore it, but I also wouldn't make a big deal of it!

I would tell you to honor the dress code and wear an appropriate jacket and take your allowance away for a week for cussing. You are OK on the wardrobe, you can change that but not the swearing. You look stupid cussing, do it before or after school in moderation.
