I'm not anyone's judge but why NOT ask anyway? If someone is unfamiliar w/God than He weighs the Spirits as He is always fair.
I believe that everything that happens, will happen for a reason. God knows that everyone has certain feelings and emotions and he knows why some people do it.
He decides if anyone should go to heaven or hell, whether they ask for forgiveness or not. (Although, asking for forgiveness raises the chance of anyone going into heaven)
