Question: bone marrow of a female? They can take a marrow cell, add vitamins and who-knows and they have created a viable sperm in the UK.
They project that they'll be able to fertilize an egg with one of these within five years.
This means the babies made will only be female because there is no male genetic material (Y chromosone) to make them boys.
And it means procreation without men.

Back about 35 years, I worked in a bar along with some researchers (making extra money at night bartending) from the Rockefeller University. They told me that science has known for a while (even back then) how to alter an ovum so it can fertilize another ovum, but they still haven't been able to alter a sperm to become an ovum. This fact, being able to fertilize an egg using another egg, was being purposely suppressed--according to the guys--specifically because the scientists (all male) didn't want males to become unnecessary. Even the idea that males could be unnecessary was being suppressed because males have a fragile ego anyway. It's not new. I don't think ovum-to-ovum fertilization would become popular even if it were easily available because no one knows what problems or mutations or whatever may arise. Plus, most people do not want a world of only-females. Plus, female-with-male sex is fun. But, you know, females are just sooooooo amazing.
I think it's unnatural and shouldn't be done.
I think anytime someone plays God, there are big repercussions.
