Do you speak ill of the dead or know someone who has?!

Question: With respect i ask this..

Answers: With respect i ask this..

I really try not to even if the deceased was not a very nice person. I won't go there out of respect for their families.

I do know a few people who do, but, I just remain quiet and steer away from them. Why add insult to injury?

Well, you are just more than welcome, my sweets! ;)

Oh, and thank you!! lol Report It

  • Yes...I speak ill of Hitler.

    my family has

    What are you asking here?

    Yes.
It annoys the crap out of me, only an ***`hole would do that

    jesus christ

Well, Hitler's dead and I say he was mad . . . so I guess yes?
    Edit: I didn't see the first answer! Anyway, I hate Wagner's music and he's also dead . . .

I don't know the dead, but the living<

yes, the moron who raped me so I think i have every right to still hate and call him every name in the book!

I don't speak ill of the dead, but honestly if I didn't like/agree with someone while they were living I'm not going to change my mind just because they are dead ....

No and I never would. My beautiful mum and dad are both sleeping for all eternity, and if nothing else they taught me to respect life and death.

nah i would never do that, BUT i dont sit there making them out to be a saint when they werent. i just say "sorry for your loss" and thats it

I don't believe I have and I know many who do.

Yes and yes. Just because someone is dead doesn't mean they were good.

how can u speak ill of someone who was an asshole when they were on earth?

When I was in high school and my best friend passed I was in math class and this girl was talking rather loudly. She said anyone who drank and drove deserved to die.

I beg to differ. It made me cry instantly so I just picked up my books and walked out of class and went home.

Yes. I remember I went to the washroom during my grandmothers funeral (rip) and i was in the stall when I heard these people "talking" about my grandmother. I don't quite remmeber what it was, but I knew it wasn't something nice. They laughed, then one of them was like "shh!" then another replied with a ".. it's okay, she's dead now anyways". I walked out of the stall. They should be thankful I didn't spazz out on them.

I knew a guy, rest his soul, that when he would speak of someone who'd passed, he'd say "rest their soul". I don't know of anyone who actually speaks ill of the deceased.

No, it is not a good idea to speak ill of the dead.
