I pay the bill every month. I halfway decided not to use the phone for three months, and now I'm ahead and can call as much as I want.... for ages and ages to come... flexible subscription. very happy with that.
I buy Vodaphone recharge cards or reciepts when i run out . They last two months . If you dont use them it expires then. I buy a $20 which lasts from one month to two..

I guy minutes on it over the internet when I need them. Infinitely easier than monthly for me.
I have many minutes and I pay the bill each month. Flat rate for a certain amount of minutes.
I get prepaid. It stops me accidently spending a ridiculous amount.

I have a contract and I prefer it over prepaid. Instead of buying minutes ahead of time and watching my call times, I have 200 anytime minutes a month which is more than enough for me, plus Mobile Browser, unlimited texting, and call display for around $50.00/month.
