What do you do when you partner pays more attention to the TV than You?!
Question: You asked the right person, I'm an old hand at this! When my husband and I were first married. I was sure I could change his mind about watching so much sports on t.v. So.... I snuggled up to him and tried talking to him. It didn't take me long to figure out he wasn't listening. So...I laid a long passionate kiss on him, but something wasn't right. I opened my eyes and his were not only open, but looking straight at the game on t.v.! I felt insulted. So....I got out the vacuum cleaner. I had the urge to clean the carpet between him and the t.v., He leaned to the side so he could see the screen and he turned up the volume! So.....I knew this was going to be an all out war! So... I stomped into the bedroom, slammed the door and very dramatically threw myself across the bed! Surely he would worry enough about me that he would leave the t.v. to come see about me. And he did, But not until half time!! That was 32 years ago. So.... Thank God I now have my computer to play with while he watches his sports. So... He now has to go get his own snacks cause i'm busy! lol

Hide the remote or take the batteries out. LOL that should drive him crazy for a while.
Go off and read...or go to the store...or have sex with his best friend...oops, did I say that out loud? My bad?
(I am just kidding, I really just find something else to do because I am simple and independent and it does not bother me that he has a love-affair with the TV. It means I can catch up on my reading or crafts).

Hide the remote, then watch your partner look for it for hours. That should provide you with some entertainement.
