Depends how big the house is ... if you live in like a shack then YES your daughter is crazy. If not, then, naww, it seems pretty cool. Turning 13 is a big deal.

when I was 16 I had rented a hotel floor for my sweet 16th bday and I had the whole floor to myself and my guests so we could act crazy. Thank goodness for a rich step grandfather and real grandmother .

Not really, if that's really what your grand-daughter wants. After all a 13th birthday party is not an ordinary one.. thirteen means that she's a teenager now! And she must be really excited about it. Just depends on how much space they have for the party and the food etc. If all's okay, it's gonna be fun!! I envy her, really :)
