When I was 10 I wanted to be a waitress at Farrell's ( a local ice cream parlor) my sister worked there and she got all the ice cream she could eat...
By the time I hit my late teens I wanted to be a nurse....
I wanted to grow up to be a girl. My sisters had so much fun. I loved their clothing. I always wanted my own plaid skirt and saddle shoes. I never got the skirt but I wore their hand me down saddle shoes. It always seemed so much fun when my mother fawned over them and put rollers in their hair. I was so jealous of how she made them feel so special.
