Question: Good morning friends !!

Answers: Good morning friends !!

It originated in Opera as the final appearance of the Diva ended shows usually. Sports commentators picked up on it later and used it during a basketball game in the US.

Uuuum, well one day this little kid and his mum were at the opera and the little kid was really bored and kept saying 'is it over?" , . . . . "is it over?", and mum got really annoyed, turned to the end of the program and said " look here, (pointing to the last act on the program) "Its not over until the fat lady sings."

Good morning to you! Its night time here.

will smith.

You ever watch opera??
It's never over until you hear the fat lady sing.

It came as a saying from un-educated person telling another about when it finished.. The Simpsons continued the joke.

Good morning to the lovely Clo. I think my dad once said it has origins having to do with the opera. The fat lady had an aria (spelling) before the close of the performance. But I see some people had links for you and most likely more credible answers than "Dawna's Dad"

One day, Chuck Norris and Superman, engaged in a staring competition. A fat lady who was nearby sang. When the singing stopped the competitors could take a rest. "It ain't over till the fat lady sings." Chuck quoted. And that's how the phrase came to be.

Note: The loser of the competition had to start wearing underpants on the outside of his clothes. Guess who lost.

a fat lady that wanted to feel important

Good Morning Sunshine.....
I believe it originated in the Opera...
Peace.
