love happens at the age when you first recognize your parents and cry for them. if you didnt love them, you wouldnt cry for them as a baby.

At fourteen you learned to tie your shoes last week. At fourteen you are a child in an adult body. At fourteen you think you are invincible. At fourteen you have no idea who you are. At fourteen you have no concept of what it is to truly love someone. It isn't going to bed with someone that proves that you love them, rather it is getting up with someone to face the day with them, despite their flaws that you can't fix.
I'm not saying that 14 is too young to "feel" love. At least not physically too young. But I think they are emotionally and mentally too young. Basically, I am saying that at 14 you probably don't really know what love really is.
Love is more than just a feeling, it is also compromising your hopes, dreams, and beliefs in order to accept those of another person. It is sacrificing what you want for the wants of the person that you "love".
The true test of love is still loving a person who chooses to love another, because you would prefer them to be happy with someone else, than be unhappy with you. If you can do this without feeling jealousy, anger, or sadness, then you are truly capable of "love".
At 14 you can love to drink and you can love to skateboard.
