You can only be influenced if you allow yourself to be. Be strong and be the leader and do not go with the flow, but encourage your friend to make better choices. Try and not cause bad shenanigans but only good shenanigans.

The more you tell them you dont want to do something the less they ask you. It is always hard to go against the flow but it is a valuable lesson that you will need to learn at some stage in life why not start with your family, they are sometimes the hardest nuts to crack. Once you have conquered them you can conquer anybody

Not me, but my husband does. Whenever he's around this guy, I can tell. He becomes rude, sarcastic, belittling, arrogant, & a know it all. I wish he'd never met him, as he has caused a lot of trouble in my life :(

actually it used to be ME, but I have settled down some in my older age, now it's my bff, when she comes around she always wants to party and do the bad old things I used to do, so I usually don't keep much contact with her anymore, sad really we have been best friends for 18 years
