When I was in college I had a similar problem at my apartment with waterbongs...... never knew how or who they came with.... I'd just be tidying up and ...tadah! waterbong. I must've collected 2 dozen before I got too paranoid to keep 'em all and started awarding them as door prizes.

If you leave an article of clothing at my house or in my office or in my car for any extended period of time, it's mine. No ifs ands or buts about it. Umbrellas are the same.
Of course, if I don't like the piece of clothing or the umbrella you can have it back. But I wouldn't have hypnotized you and had you leave it in my possession if I didn't like it to begin with.
