Question: Will my taste buds every get their sense of taste back?
I moved away from England 7 years ago and have never been back, will one day, but not yet. So now i'm accustomed to Cajun and Texan foods that when i just ordered $40 worth of British foods from the emporium i can't stand it.
Oh my gosh, where have my taste buds gone?
I spat out my pot noodle and ran for some jambalaya just to get some taste in my mouth and i grew up Golden Wonder.
Where oh where did my taste go?
You know though - Cajun/Texan food is awsome, my husband converted me i guess.

As we grow our tastes change. I think every 7 years. 5 years ago I didn't like Chinese food, Mexican food, or Japanese food. Now they are all my fav"s . I still love a good steak but I don't like some of the things Idid when I was growing up.
Just normal - you have changed
I'm sorry that you have to live in Texas, but I do love Cajun and Mexican food.
