My next-door neighbour has still got their Christmas decorations up on the outsi!

Question: Is this some kind of record?

Answers: Is this some kind of record?

Some families keep these decorations up if someone is in the service and overseas. Once the loved one is safe at home and seen the lights, they can take them down.

lmao.. maybe they like to celebrate all year around..lmao

Well I left my tree up til St. Patty's Day one year so probably not.

Maybe they want to get, a head start on this year. And be the first on your block, to have them up...................

their just lazy. so they dont have to put it up this year

There is a house that I see on my way to work, that still has them up. I came to the conclusion that they left them up because there are so many of them an it will save them having to put them up again this year!

Have you seen them since Christmas? are they still alive!?

No, I've seen houses with decorations still up, too. I used to work with a lady whose family used to make a game out of seeing just how long they could keep their Christmas tree up - and alive. I think she said they made it to Easter one year!

what's wrong with that? we keep our tree up until easter

There's a lady in our town that keeps them up all year round. She even turns her lights on every night. Either she really has the Christmas spirit or just lazy.

lol no way I've seen people who leave there's up year round

THATS HELLA FUNNY! So do my neighbors, maybe it's a white thing?

Not even close. My neighbors decorated for Halloween in September and they took all of it down in June when they moved. I got pretty tired of the cobwebs, front yard grave yard and the scarecrow. Such class!

I see a lot of people who leave their lights up year round. Not so bad now a days with those white icicle lights cause you can barely see them...but back in the day, those God awful dark green strands of HUGE multi colored 4 inch bulbs...eck!

Lots of people just leave them up all year round. Even people with jobs can be bone idle sometimes.

There are some people who keep them up all year and have made tourist attractions out of their lawns.

I have a neighbour that hasn't taken their outside decorations down for 2yrs 4months now. They were put up in Oct '05 and are still there

When I was around about 17 a friend and I went Iceskating. In Amsterdam you can skate on the canals, as long as it is cold enough, and from the canals you can look into the windows of people. I think this was somewhere in april, and we looked inside a house and they still had the christmas tree stanidng there. All the needles had gone, but all the decorations plus the lights were still in it AND the lights were on.
Your neigbours have got a little longer to go then!

Well back home, Alaska, we leave our white lights on until the last musher from the Iditarod comes in. I say if they want to leave the decorations up let them, it is their yard. If you don't like the way it looks, well then don't look!

hopefully, they will have died over christmas, a few less vermin i have to pay for. is there a smell coming from the dead sroungers?

they're either too late or way too early! xx

Just shoot them
