The telly was black and white in my childhood,i used to think that everyone on the telly could see us in our house, and would not come downstairs in my knickers incase they saw me.

yeah i thought that when i watched I love lucy when i was like 4 lol

lol.i thought the same way.
i used to think the boogeyman was under my bed or hinding in my closet..

Seeing color movies now about world war two and one, civil war, etc. just doesn't seem the same.

I did the same thing!! But I have very pleasant memories of about age five going down to the Victorian train station near my house and sitting in the lobby and picturing all the people in the clothes of that era. The women in the long, flowing skirts, men in top hats and spats...that type of thing. Of course, back then a kid was safe doing that and I live in a small town.

hmm well i thought that we cld speak to ppl on tv through the speakers on the sides of the tv.. and that we were watching all these ppl on the tv but at the same time i thought i was on tv too and ppl were watching me so i'd keep my ears alert sometimes should someone speak to me through THEIR speakers... hehehe okie i was one weirdo

yes, when i was really little.
i was ADDICTED to watching kiddie shows.

It is easy to imagine a black-and-white world based on those old movies and TV shows. Steven Spielberg said he thinks of the 40's in that way. That's one of the reasons Schindler's List was filmed in black and white.
