Something about belly zippers being a failed experiment

Because it's where the ambilical cord once was

we just do

We have it so that we all have somewhere to store fluff! Lol.

a belly button is a scar. from where u were attached to ur mom.......thats why.

Don't know, but my ex liked to poke mine, I think she has a complex

So we have someplace to help us do body shots.

cause after we are outta the womb it doesnt just disappear.

Could you imagine your stomach with out one tho?? it'll look strange :)

Well they had to cut the cord to separate us from our mothers. We wouldn't want mum to be hanging onto us forever would we.

I suppose you could say it is a scar from where the umbilical cord came off.

also that's how you tell the difference between humans and aliens

It somwhere we can hide the Smarties and M&M's we don't want to share.

just call it a scar and be satisfied with it.

If you are laying in bed eating radishes
it is where you put the salt.

That is where you were attached to the umbilical cord. They cut the umbilical cord away from the placenta when you are born - tie it off and leave it to dry up and fall off. Your belly button is proof that you are human and were born from your mother.

To keep spare change, hahaha!!!

I heard a veggie tales song about this one time
"Baby I need to tell you something. I don't got a belly button. Belly button oh..ohhh o ohhh yeah."

It was inspiring and made me realize that it didn't matter why it was there. At least I'm not a singing Cucumber without one.
