Question: I have one that lives on block away from the school, maybe a 5 minute walk at best. She drives her kids to school. Oh my God. Talk about some sort of babies she is raising.

That sounds asinine. While predators lurk the streets, I still find it hard to believe someone would do this. Kids are always walking and running around far greater distances where I live, so it just sounds really insipid. When they grow up, I am sure they will be in Congress.
That's sad.
I hate when I see kids freaking out in a store because they want a toy or whatever and the parents give in and buy whatever they want! My mom would not have stood for that and neither will I when I have kids.
hey in this day in age I would drive my kids to scho if it was just next door. or even just across the street. I am only 15 however you just never know.
that's what my friend's mummy does. She drives to the 1 and a half minute - away takeaway down the road as well. But it doesn't really matter, does it?
... buy toys for their kids that are more expensive than my watch.

Well now days you cant be too careful..never know when some crazy BH will come along and start shootin..Just this morning i noticed a parent with her car running so her child wouldnt get cold standing out waitin on the school bus..But when i was a kid in school i was the only one who lived walking distance to school. I had it made... loved walking 12 years to school.. hated to spend the night with friends cause i had to ride the bus with them.
