How important is hearing "I love you" to you?!
Question: I have been with the love of my life close to three years and while she is VERY good at SHOWING "I love you", I have never heard her say the words out loud. I have seen them written in cards and text messages, IMs and E-mails, but have never heard her actually say them. In your opinion, how important are these words to HEAR if the person is good at SHOWING you that they love you?

I will agree that hearing the words is very important. Although, saying it too much makes it seem a little less special. I know I'll get thumbs down, but it's true.

It is very important for me to hear the words.
Oh gosh...I would wonder WHY they couldn't bring themselves to say it. It is something that should come naurally enough, if the feeling is there.
From personal experience...that is a big, waving red flag. And I am talking from the perspective of the one who didn't say it.
I have NO problem saying it, if I feel it...but if I don't...you won't hear it.

Its very good to hear and its good for the heart..but you should never say it unless you 100% mean it. Ive never said it to anyone without meaning it with all my heart.
