I can answer this question since I shave my head for the bald look although I am not balding. I use shampoo. Because my head produces an enormous amount of oil (which means I have oily hair if I let my hair grow) I like using shampoo. Shampoo cuts the oil more effectively than soap. Report It

    My boyfriend uses shampoo then conditioner work that one out??
    I stick my head out the window in the car wash and have the wax finish.
    I was with a guy with a bald head and he used soap or shower gel.
    why not shampoo? Especially if they're not completely bald.
    I use facial scrub on my hair with the bald spot. It takes care of any hygiene issues, and is mild.
