Because it's catchy and has a good beat. There is a reason that I like it.
Why do people like rock? I hate it so much. I don't know how people listen to that crap.

I like it because most of the beats sound cool, that's just my opinion though. There's also good rap like Kanye West, Common, and Lupe Fiasco. Not all rap is about shooting people and stuff.
i totally agree, i think most of the lyrics are incredibly childish and immature.
Because some rap songs tell stories and so a lot of people can relate to them.

I agree but it's all personal taste so I'm cool with it if people like it. The only reason I don't listen to it is the beats get boring and the lyrics are rude.
