A month ago, my best friend told me to dump my boyfriend, I ignored her advice, subsequently, he just dumped me! I will NEVER ignore her advice again!
Honestly, I remember being told as a kid that by the time I died, I'd be able to count all of my true friends on one hand. In other words, you won't have many real friends in your life. I think that's true.

my brother told me the other night that when dealing with my relationship not to keep trying to please the guy and just focus on myself for once.
I never do anything for myself. I don't go get my nails or hair done, I don't go shopping just to splurge on myself. I study so hard to get all A's because my education is very important, I'm working my butt off to keep paying for college. I'd do anything for anyone no matter what.
I just don't get enough out of my relationship...I think it's time to move on.
