I don't think so (note hesitation). I must read, analyze (sort of) your words, think of a response, then formulate and type it on the keyboard. Certainly I use less of my senses than if we were sitting in a coffee shop, but I'm still using my fading gray matter.
Besides..I'm not so sure I wanna smell or have you touching me.. (sorry Buk..couldn't resist!)

No, the internet is helping us to express ourselves in a more private and creative way... This is a good thing.. We keep the juices flowing in our minds and our hands get quite a workout too......
