Always, i drive half way to work then have to turn around cause i think i may have left the iron on, it happens at least once per month... Its so frustrating.

We check the coffee brewer.. We don't want the house to burn down....lol...

I have turned around and been late for work because I couldn't remember blowing out a candle (I had blown it out).

yes i went thru a stage 18 yrs ago almost OCD with switches in house.

yeah, sometimes i think i've left my hair straighteners on and the house is gonna burn down. but i mostly think i've not locked the front door when i leave the house, i'll get in my car, drive off the drive and then bam, my head says, 'but did you lock the front door?' and i just can't remember if i did or not, so i've gotta park up, get out and check!!! that's always my excuse for being late haha.
my grandad was ace, he used to go round the house before he left at least twice, saying off, off, off to all the cooker switches and then off, off, off to all the light switches, and then locked, locked, locked to all the doors and windows - our days out were still worth the wait though, he was ace!!!!!
